《經典舞蹈資料庫》提供450部20世紀最具影響力的舞者與大廠出品之舞劇與紀錄片。舞蹈作為一種轉瞬即逝的藝術形式，卻鮮少有劇本、旁白可供參閱、分析，時常導致觀看現場演出成為學習與研究的僅有管道。有鑑於此，《經典舞蹈資料庫》整合提供了諸多經典舞劇橋段，方便研究者能反覆鑽研、賞析，這些偉大舞者、編舞家、導演的精心力作；將轉瞬即逝的經典藝術時刻，轉化為課堂上可永久參考的資料。

學生、教授、研究者，首次能於線上直接擷取、剪輯特定舞蹈風格、舞台佈景的片段：即便小至單一動作，本資料庫皆能提供逐秒的的URL連結網址，使用者可為剪輯之檔案，添加註解、師生間可分享視訊檔案成為課堂作業、或於課堂報告中引用此連結，甚或與全世界的人分享您的自建清單。
內容：
收錄內容涵括Stravinsky的芭蕾到William Forsythe與Merce Cunningham的紀錄片，收錄年代橫跨1950年代至今，《經典舞蹈資料庫》首創提供超過500小時可供線上閱覽、編輯的舞蹈影片。典藏舞蹈除了芭蕾、踢踏、爵士、當代、實驗、即興舞之外，還包含舞蹈形式與現代舞的先鋒作品、舞蹈教學影片、及各項與二十世紀舞蹈相關之作。
