The award-winning social work list at Oxford reflects the wide range of the field and the depth of its growing body of research. Strengths in broad areas of the discipline, such as child welfare and mental health, are supported by a particular focus on research methods and evidence-based practice. A very partial list of notable authors includes Jill Duerr Berrick, Jacqueline Corcoran, Neil Gilbert, Duncan Lindsey, Julia Littell, Cheryl Regehr, Aron Shlonsky, and Tony Tripodi, together with renowned researchers from the fields of psychology, psychiatry, sociology, and public health. Forty-two titles will mark the OSO launch, with an additional twenty new titles to be added each year, including volumes from the series Pocket Guides to Social Work Research Methods, Evidence-Based Practices, SSWAA Workshops, and Interpersonal Violence.
